A TRADITION THAT REACHES THE PEAKS
Based in Crans-Montana for the past two years, Lausanne-based Attica Immobilier is expanding into the Valais thanks to the experience of a line of professionals with a strong focus on customer relations. Portrait of Attica Immobilier.
Attica Immobilier began life as an agency specialising in property development, and its beginnings date back to 1998 thanks to Rosario Boscacci. ‘After years in finance and project management, I wanted to create a property company. Keeping a history alive, a name, made perfect sense and was a nod to my father. As for him, he created Attica Promotions to simplify understanding of our activities,’ says Tassilo Boscacci. Brokerage was then added to Attica's spectrum, along with art (Attica Art), the construction of a student residence (Attica Résidences), and their links with humanitarian aid via the AClem foundation.
From Lausanne onwards, Attica has worked on a steady stream of projects in French-speaking Switzerland. The agency stands out for its proximity to its customers, with recommendations and exclusivity as its only business cards. Offering the same service for properties worth CHF 100,000 as for those worth CHF 40 million, Tassilo Boscacci is developing the brand and making no secret of his ambitions elsewhere. Particularly in Valais, his second home canton... ‘We've been going to Crans-Montana for three generations. My grandfather supplied the resort's hotels and restaurants with bedding and linens in the 70s, my father did promotions there at the end of the 80s and even owned the local cinema for a time, and personally, I've spent almost all my holidays there since I was very young,’ says Tassilo Boscacci.
Expansion in the Valais
Two years ago, the company met Sandro Marfia, a former wealth manager living in Crans-Montana. ‘He, too, had a good network, genuine consideration for both buyers and sellers, and knowledge of the local fabric, so we set out to conquer the summits to meet an increasingly demanding demand’, describes the multi-hatted entrepreneur, who immediately set up a Valais entity. The duo quickly conquered Crans-Montana, spreading out across the Rhone Valley and its high altitude towns such as Anzères, Verbier and others. From alpine chalets to villas and flats, the sales and promotions are diverse and varied, both on the plains and in the mountains. The latest example is a mixed-use winegrower's building on the heights of Chamoson (see our advertisements on page 22).
